The IMD anticipates a thunderstorm outbreak across the state, with the strongest impact likely on March 19 and 20.

Hyderabad is expecting a delightful spell of summer rains and thunderstorms as western disturbances influence weather patterns in the region. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a substantial rain event is expected from March 19 to 20, providing relief from the extreme heat.

The IMD anticipates a thunderstorm outbreak across the state, with the strongest impact likely on March 19 and 20. Scattered rains are forecast in Hyderabad throughout this period, providing relief from the current dry weather.

The IMD explained the weather dynamics, stating that a trough extending from east Vidarbha to north Tamil Nadu currently sweeps over Marathwada to the Comorin Area through interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the lower troposphere. This trough's impact is predicted to provide isolated light rain to Telangana from March 16 to March 20.

Furthermore, the IMD stated that there is a low probability of a heatwave in Telangana until March 20. The IMD-Hyderabad office has also forecast gloomy skies in the city for the next five days, with maximum temperatures ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.
