T-Safe App in Telangana: For the safety of women and children, Telangana Women Safety Department has made available a special app called Travel Safe 'T-SAFE'. CM Revanth Reddy unveiled these services on Tuesday.

CM Revanth Reddy launched the T-SAFE app which provides special services to monitor women's journeys for their safety on Tuesday at the Secretariat. On this occasion, the CM unveiled a poster designed by Telangana Police's Women's Security Department to create awareness among the public about 'T-SAFE'. The police explained that the T-SAFE app has been designed with many special features to provide immediate assistance to women, especially in cases of traveling alone, sharing live locations, navigating the route, detecting sudden changes, and alerting the police.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth said that his government is committed to the safety of women. Telangana Police created 'T-Safe'...not just an app, it is a service. He said that there is no need to have a smartphone to avail of these services. There is no need to download the app. It is said that women can get T-safe services even if they have a basic phone. On this occasion, the CM congratulated the state police who are constantly working for the safety of women and children. It is a good thing that these services were made available on the day the state government announced the Mahila Shakti policy.
To get the services.. call 100 or 112 numbers through any phone.. then select number 8 through the IVR option. Also, an automated link will come immediately after calling. This service can be availed through the Travel Safe application available on the Google Play Store or the T-Safe webpage. 791 patrol cars and 1085 Blue Colts vehicles in the state will be connected with this app. Users can also share their travel details with their family members through a live location link.
