VIJAYAWADA: On Wednesday, the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance inaugurated the 'Kalalaku Rekkalu' plan, pledging to reimburse interest on loans acquired by women to pursue professional courses.

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu launched the kalalakurekkalu.com website, noting that the three parties had launched the program on March 8. Women signed up for the project in the presence of Naidu. Following registration, a certificate was generated.

The former chief minister elaborated on the idea, saying that women can request loans by showing the certificate to the bank. He went on to say that once the coalition is in power, it will guarantee loans taken out by women to attend professional courses. Naidu described the initiative as an investment in the future of women and the state, noting that it is not confined to a single sector.


TDP 2nd list to be out today

On Thursday, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu will present the second list of candidates for the upcoming elections. Out of the total 175 Assembly constituencies in the state, the JSP and BJP have been assigned 31 Assembly and 8 Lok Sabha seats.

Dare to dream, strive to achieve: TDP chief

It will provide assistance to women who choose to pursue higher education, skill development, and capacity-building programs. The TDP chief stated, "I have always said, dare to dream and strive for success. Recognizing women's power, we are launching a new initiative today."

Furthermore, he stated that the TDP was the first to provide 33% reservations in educational institutions and employment possibilities for women in the country. Recalling that there were just 20 to 30 colleges back then, Naidu stated that he founded an engineering college in each revenue division. He noted that the youth attended those colleges and were successful in getting jobs.

He went on to say, "Twenty years ago, some individuals didn't believe that studying information technology would lead to opportunities. TDP anticipated opportunities. To provide jobs, we first built Hitech City. We began backward and forward integration in order to provide jobs for young people studying information technology. I traveled to the United States for 14 days and spoke with representatives from multinational corporations, demonstrating to the world the strength of the kids here. With this, they agreed to form firms."

Expanding on the schemes declared in the first section of the manifesto, he stated, "Under Thallaki Vandhanam, the future administration will provide Rs 15,000 to every school-going child every year. Every year, we will supply three free petrol cylinders under the Deepam initiative. Women will be permitted to travel free on RTC buses. Every month, women aged 18 to 59 will receive Rs 1,500."

Furthermore, he added that a plan is being developed to give purified water to every home via taps.
