Highlights:

  • KCR is the pink dalapati who is changing strategies
  • Bajireddy Govardhan in Nizamabad Bari
  • BRS candidates have been finalized for 9 seats

BRS president KCR, who is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections, announced the candidates for 4 more seats on Wednesday (March 13). The name of former MLA Bajireddy Govardhan has been finalized as a Lok Sabha candidate mainly from the Nizamabad seat. While it is being discussed that Kalvakuntla Kavitha will contest this seat once again, KCR's announcement has shocked the political circles. It is known that the former Chief Minister KCR contested from the seat of Kamareddy along with Gajvel in the recent Telangana Assembly elections. Bajireddy Govardhan Reddy, who is a sitting MLA, voluntarily resigned from the leadership and fully cooperated with the party. Keeping this issue in mind, KCR gave him an opportunity as Nizamabad MP. There is a debate going on in the party ranks as to the respect due to loyalty.

MLC Kavitha contested twice from the Nizamabad Parliament seat in the past. Kavitha, who won from Nizamabad in the 2014 elections and entered the Parliament, was defeated by Arvind from Dharmapuri in the 2019 elections. However, he is actively participating in many programs within the Nizamabad Parliament Constituency. In this background, the party ranks thought that she would stand in the Nizamabad Lok Sabha this time as well. But, KCR chose Bajireddy Govardhan for the Nizamabad seat.

Similarly, KCR surprised the political circles by announcing Kadiam Kavya's name for the Warangal Parliament seat. Aururi Ramesh's case has been heatedly debated for two days.. Apart from him, sitting MP Pasunuri Dayakar and not MLA Kadyam Srihari's daughter Kavya has become a topic of discussion.

BRS chief has finalized the name of Gali Anil Kumar for the Zaheerabad Parliament seat. Bibi Patil, the sitting MP of the BRS party, joined the BJP a few days ago. The ticket for Patil from Zaheerabad has also been finalized on behalf of the BJP. In this background, KCR gave an opportunity to senior party leader Gali Anil Kumar from BRS.

KCR has finalized the name of Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj as Chevella's candidate. Chevella sitting MP Dr. Ranjith Kumar's name was kept aside and Kasani Gnaneshwar was given a chance. It seems that Ranjith Kumar is not interested in contesting the elections this time.

BRS MP Candidates:
Karimnagar - Boinapally Vinodkumar
Peddapalli - Koppula Eshwar
Khammam - Nama Nageswara Rao
Mahbububad - Malot's poem
Malkajigiri - King of Shambhipur
Warangal - Kadiam Kavya
Chevella - Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj
Nizamabad - Bajireddy Govardhan
Zaheerabad - Gali Anil Kumar

KCR has finalized the names of BRS candidates for 9 parliamentary seats so far. Meanwhile, BJP has announced its candidates for 15 seats except two seats (Khammam and Warangal). It seems that there is a possibility of notification for the Lok Sabha elections in four to five days.
