Kadiyam Kavya: BRS party president Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao has finalized MP candidates for two more seats. The names of Kadiam Kavya from Warangal Parliament seat and Kasani Gnaneshwar from Chevella seat have been announced. KCR spoke to Aruri Ramesh in the background of the spread of news that he will join the BJP and contest from the Warangal seat. After that ticket was allotted to Kadiyam Kavya.

BRS party leader KCR has finalized the candidate for the Warangal Parliament seat which has become a hot topic in Telangana politics. Kadiyam Kavya has been allotted an MP ticket from Warangal. K. Chandrasekhar Rao took this decision on Wednesday (March 13) evening after long discussions with all the leaders of the joint Warangal district including Aruri Ramesh. Besides Warangal, the BRS candidate was selected for Chevella seat. The name of Kasani Gnaneshwar has been finalized from the Chevella parliamentary seat.

Kadiyam Kavya is the daughter of Station Ghanpur MLA and former Minister Kadiyam Srihari. Kadiam Srihari asked to give the ticket to Kavya from station Ghanpur seat in the recent assembly elections. The then-sitting MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah and Kadiam Srihari had a fierce war of words over the ticket issue. Later, KCR announced the decision by allotting a ticket to Kadiam Srihari in the first list. Kadiam Srihari, who won from station Ghanpur seat, resigned from the post of MLC.

Kasani Gnaneshwar, who served as the president of the Telangana Telugu Desam Party, joined the BRS party before the assembly elections. Recently he got a ticket from Chevella Lok Sabha seat.

The Aaruri affair is a hot topic

Former MLA of Vardhannapet, Aruri Ramesh, has been campaigning for a few days that he will join the BJP. It is known that he is thinking of contesting from the Warangal seat on behalf of the BJP. However, on Wednesday morning, several BRS leaders including Errabelli Dayakar Rao came to Aruri Ramesh's residence. In the wake of dramatic developments, he was brought to KCR's residence in Hyderabad.

KCR, who is working on the Lok Sabha election activities, met with the leaders of the Warangal constituency on Wednesday. All the important leaders including MP Pasunuri Dayakar, MLA Kadiam Srihari, and MLC Madhusudanachari were present in this meeting. The BRS candidate was discussed at length. Later, the issue of candidate selection was left to KCR's decision.

It seems that Aruri Ramesh has shown reluctance to contest as Warangal MP. It is reported that he told KCR that any candidate will campaign and win. KCR seems to have advised him not to spoil his future with unnecessary decisions. It is reported that MP Pasunuri Dayakar also said that if given a chance, he would contest again. After taking everyone's opinions, KCR finalized the name of Kadyam Kavya as the Warangal MP candidate.
